If you’re seeing backups, hearing an alarm, or noticing soggy ground and odours — you need help now.

We specialize in fast diagnosis and repair of Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 septic systems (we do NOT pump tanks, but we fix everything else, usually the same day).

Immediate Steps You Should Take Right Now

(Do these in order — they can save you thousands)

  1. Stop using ALL water
No toilets, showers, laundry, dishwasher, or taps. Every litre you add makes it worse.

  2. Silence the alarm (If you have one)
Find the control panel and press the red or black “Silence” button.
Check the breaker labelled “septic” or “pump” in your electrical panel — flip it off and back on.

  3. Keep everyone away from the backup area
Sewage is a health hazard. Keep children and pets out.

  4. Do NOT add enzymes, yeast, chemicals, or “miracle” additives
They usually make the problem harder (and more expensive) to fix.

  5. Call or text us immediately — (250) 589-1410
We answer 24/7, even holidays and long weekends. Tell us:

    • Your address

    • Type of system (if you know)

    • What you’re seeing/hearing/smelling

    • When it started

    • Text a photo if you can

We’ll give you exact next steps over the phone and dispatch the same day in almost all cases.

What Happens When We Arrive

  • Full system diagnosis (tank levels, effluent filter, pumps, floats, alarms, control panel, drain-field check)

  • Emergency cleaning or replacement of clogged filters, failed pumps, or stuck floats

  • Temporary bypass solutions if needed to restore basic function

  • Priority scheduling for any follow-up repairs or maintenance plan

Common Emergencies We Fix Every Week

  • High-level alarm won’t stop

  • Sewage backup into house or bathtubs

  • Pump failure or burned-out motor

  • Clogged or missing effluent filter

  • Control panel or float switch failure

  • Surface breakout over the drain field after heavy rain

Most of these are repaired the same day. In rare cases where the tank is completely full, we will coordinate with a licensed pumper immediately (we have several we trust and work with daily).

Prevent Tomorrow’s Emergency

After we get you running again, ask about our Maintenance Plans — most emergencies never happen to customers who are on a regular service schedule.
